PB3 print buffer clearence problem

i have been trying to print bitmap on PB3 the first time is printing fine and te next time am attempting to print the image shifts towards the left. restarting the printer allows the bitmap to print fine. i suspect the print buffer isn't cleared and have used CAN (0x18) command but stil the shift occurs for second print onwards.

is there any command which may clear the print buffer other than CAN
